Frequently asked questions.

  • Chiropractic is a healthcare profession focused on diagnosing, treating, and preventing disorders of the musculoskeletal system, especially those involving the spine, muscles, joints, and nerves. It emphasizes a hands-on, non-invasive approach to allow your body to do the healing for you.

  • Question of the year ! :)

That sound is simply gas releasing from a joint as it moves during adjustment. It’s definitely not your bones rubbing or anything harmful.

Chiropractors refer to it as cavitation as negative pressure is created during high velocity low amplititude adjustment. Many techniques don’t produce any sound at all.

    • Your current condition

    • How long it has been present

    • Your lifestyle and daily demands

    • Your goals (relief, correction, maintenance, performance)

Recommendations will be suggested and outlined for you to make the decision.

At Spirit Chiropractic you’re always in control of your care.

  • A chiropractic adjustment is a controlled force applied to a joint, typically in the spine, to restore proper movement and improve function. It’s designed to reduce inflammation, reduce pain and improve blood flow and nerve supply to support your body’s natural healing processes.
